According to many soucres the presidents approval rating has dipped from a healthy 66%* in June to 54%* as we close out July. While republicans continue to have a 75%* dissaproval rating of president Obama, democrats are still content with the proformance of the president with a 86%* approving. It is the independents however who are starting to have a change of heart with a 54%* approval rating. All this uncertainty about the proformance of the president is most likely generated by the attention given to a healthcare plan that over half the nation is rejecting. With the faltering economy, most Americans would like to see the president focus on pulling out of this recession, creating American jobs, and reducing out nations debt.
It was only a matter of time before this happened. Since the begining of his campaign, I was not impressed with Obama's rhetoric. There is no doubt that he is a great speaker but in these time we need someone who can do, not just talk and so far thats all I have seen Obama do, talk. If this is a sign of things to come then republicans might be in for a very good year in 2012. My prediction is that Mitt Romney will represent the republicans and given the direction Obama is leading us now, it might be fairly easy for him to win and bring his wealth of economic knowledge into office. Obama is just too big of a risk for these times, American needs a proven leader. And not a Kenyan. Haha jk...hopefully
